Hi New to this site, have a 95' 525i drivers side"cushion" no longer heating, bought after market element, was told will work, just have to hard wire, etc. when i pull out driver's side seat, remove cushion, etc. what can i suspect for wiring, re: colors, etc. my unit has red/blk. does anyone know what the bmw will have, and what color is pos. & what color is neg. if they don't use "red & blk."

thanks!

I actually have a heated seat that was fixed to a seat cover (leather) sitting in my garage, but I"m at work. I'll get back to you tomorrow and let you know what the wire colors are...maybe it'll be a straight shot fixing it. I plan on converting a cloth seat to a heated seat using the pad found from a seat I pulled from a 7 series. Will let you know what I find.

Regards,

C.

I see you figured it out. Yes, two wires...red and red with a yellow trace. Glad you sorta figured it out and hope it works well for you. Lemme know how the aftermarket unit worked.
