I am replacing the water pump on my 1994 530i. To get to one of the water pump bolts I have to remove the Vibration Damper. The first bolt I attempted was really stubborn. When I was attempting to remove the bolt on the inside portion of the Vibration Damper, I cranked counter clockwide hard enought to rotate the entire Vibration Damper wheel to the left (counter clockwise when facing the engine from the front end). The Vibration Damper rotated left about 1/2 inch.
Will this screw up timing or anything?
I have tried to rotate it clockwise without any success. Do I need to attempt to rotate it clockwide back to it's original position? -
Please help!! Thanks!!

Ther is an alignment hole on the damper and a pritrusion on the flange. Once you remove the flex damper it will be apparent to you.
