:eeps: I just bought a 1994, 325ci and it's my first beemer. I haven't been able to get the CD to activate in the head unit. I know it's an o.e.m. unit and it has power, the disc's shuffle and eject when necessary. But when I push the band button, the only options I get are AM/FM. Is this a common problem? Also, my car didn't have the manual for the stereo or the code card for the radio. Can these things be replaced from the dealer? Thanks for any advice!

Band will only change between AM/FM mate
Do you not have a CD/TAPE option?

I was told that on my year the band button should rotate to CD but it doesn't. Also, I tried the Mode button and it only rotates through the bass, treble, and balance, etc. I haven't had time to fool with it, but I plan on pulling the data lead off of the changer and look for a bad connection. I don't have a manual so I'm kind of lost. I hate to pitch the system because I can't get it working! Thanks.

The TAPE button should toggle to CD if the player is active, I think. Mine is a later model tho. :dunno:

Thanks, but I don't have a tape button either! I did find out that if I remove the stereo, the pass code is somewhere on it. The dealer said that if I wanted to pay them to take it out, they would get it for me! Great Guys Huh! I'll try again this weekend to get it working.
