318i Mod?

Stupid question, but what small engine performance mods can you do on a 97 318i?

forced induction, usually a supercharger. or an engine swap. smaller NA mods usually don't get you anywhere. sorry, 318's aren't as fun to mod, but at least they're lighter and get better fuel economy.

Cold air intake, chip, cat back exhaust, maybe headers. That's really about it until you start messing with superchargers. The M42/M44 really is a great little engine though. I'm searching for an e30 318IS to use as a dd.
