Hey mate. So you want to upgrade to Euros.
NICE>...........................
Remember, you must ask the seller this question.
For example, Umnitza sells the whole combo for a few hundred dollars.
And they also sell each item by itself for different prices.
If you buy the Ellipsoid headlights only, they will not come with H.I.D pre-installed nor the Angel eye rings.

All i know is, some sellers sell the rings pre installed, some sell them seperately.
I recommend you to buy things seperately, because our very own bimmerfest forums has a DIY on Rings and H.I.D.

Isn't Bimmerfest Great?

The best product we offer for your car is the ZKW with Orion V2. While pricey, it's the best.
however, if you are on a budget, the DEPO with Orion V2 are a very good alternative. With Xenons, the package will run you $375 and the quality is unmatched.
Most parts are delivered within 2-5 days. In your case, you would get them in 2 days.

thanks for the info, is there any way you could show pics of each for comparison and prices as well (I would like xenon as well but could you give price with and without xenon? thank you

it all comes pre put together except the angel eyes, you have to pay $10 to have those installed, I have received a ton of compliments on mine and they are super bright!

heh, wow, I just lost all my respect for umnitza. For one retailer to bash another retailer like that shows how low they have to go to bring business back to them. I'm sorry but I'm raising the BS flag over that thread, DDM might have been crap at one time but they have changed entirely. They do not pay me to say anything for them. I get the same prices everyone else does and I'm treated the same way as well. I'm going to leave it at that and keep my feelings out of this, I'm ticked enough as it is.

Did you see the part about Jim (DDM) being being sued by suppliers and indicted for fraud? You'll have to see some of the links to other threads, and spend about 30 minutes reading. I'm not paid either - I'm just observing.

I saw a thread made by umnitza going against Jim, that is bad practice for any company. If a user had pointed it out it would be one thing but for a company, sorry but that puts a really bad taste in my mouth. I'm not going to even bother reading what the letter said, you can't believe everything you read on the internet, especially when it is a vendor going after another.

Very true, DNRC.

On Bimmerforums there is an ongoing little war between them. Both companies can be very hit or miss. Read and make your own educated decisions, but use critical reading and see if you see discrepancies in anything said.

is a court docket. At that point (for any dispute) it moves beyond 'he said - she said.' Like I said before, I'm NOT picking sides on this, all I'm saying is CAVEAT EMPTOR!

So you're saying it's ok for another vendor to steal someone's ideas, naming, branding, and even target only those suppliers the vendor uses to DUMP on the market?

Someone said read carefully, I encourage that. Truth becomes evident over time, and it will.

Iirc, BavarianSoundwerks and NA Motorwerks are somehow intertwined in this ridiculous forum vendor dick-measuring contest as well.
The bottom line in my opinion: UmNitza and DDM are both the same; small-time 2 or 3 man shows that bulk purchase the same Korean garbage knock-off headlights and resell them. DDM sells them for less money. The end.
If I had it to do over I would have skipped the whole BS and coughed up the extra couple bucks and gotten real Euro ZKWs, and not had to deal with the headaches of poor product quality and fitment etc..
(For the record, the Korean plastic trash headlights that I have say "DEPO", not "APEXCONE", not that it really makes any difference.)

DDM undercut you. Is that good business ethics? Not necessarily, but come on, that's business.
It's not like you're the only one. For a good laugh go over the car audio subforum of any major BMW Forum and watch EAS swing on Halston's (from BavarianSoundwerks) nuts and try to steal a few DICE kit sales every day. It's completely shameless and sad, but entertaining to watch nonetheless.

Unethical behaviour is unethical behaviour.
Period. Stealing people's ideas, products, and brands is unethical.

Undercutting someone is a completely legitimate form of business when you sell the same products. However selling below cost is illegal. Selling not the same products but calling them the same or copying another company's products is illegal.

As for what EAS does, they have long since done the same to Umnitza on all our lighting threads, I'm not surprised, but at least they have enough sense to sell products under their own names or the names of their manufacturers.

For the record, we have 8 employees. We buy products from China, Taiwan, Germany, and USA. We carry ZKWs, Hella, and other parts with German components, just like we sell some Philips products with Chinese components and many others. Being Chinese or Korean or any Asian origin for a part doesn't mean it's bad.

One last aside, the key to quality products isn't the manufacturing process as much as it is the quality assurance, testing, and physical components included. Did you know that DEPO uses German machinery, GE polymers for injection plastics, and ISO9001 certified testing for their products? The difference is what actually makes it out of the factory - which they have gotten better with over the years.

I did not know that bit about DEPO. I may be contacting you guys in the near future to upgrade to ZKWs.

ZKWs are a better light, but depo has made strides in all their manufacturing, as have a lot of Chinese based manufacturers.

Here's some shots inside the DEPO factory (they let us take all the pictures we wanted).
1 of 10 machines that does every test from dust, to humidity, to shock, to salt water, to UV, etc.
