1995 525i fuel pump making noise!

i head a buzzing noise on my right rear of the vehicle i think is the fuel pump!my car drive fine but at idie i can hear stready noise.is this is a sign that i need to replace my fuel pump?

Fuel pumps buzz. I don't know of any that don't.

Mine has buzzed for a couple of years. no sign of a problem
