Some clarification offered on two stories currently in the news:

A) The supply industry strike will have only a small short-term
effect on availability for the US market. There are sufficient
supplies of 3 Series models in the vehicle supply pipeline to
meet both customer's and dealer's needs.

B) Articles in the current issues of both AutoWeek, and
Automotive News continue to fuel speculation that there
is an imminent styling change for the 7-Series. This
will not happen during the 2004 calendar year
(as has been suggested/hypothesized). Consistent with
tradition, the E65 7 Series will receive a "design freshening"
(i.e. face or butt-lift) somewhere in mid-life...

Um, good news on Part A, certainly. I think most would disagree with your assessment of Part B. :p
