Feedback on tirerack web site

New user, new X3 owner, looking for snow tires. One annoyance about tirerack is that if you don't have the size I need in stock, it doesn't come up "not in stock," it simply doesn't exist! I would appreciate the former. The latter makes you do a double take, thinking you input your search terms incorrectly, since other sites show this size for this tire; seems a bit sleezy to pretend it doesn't exist rather than say "out of stock" and perhaps quote an availability date. Just my gut reaction.

The tire I'm looking for is the Bridgestone Blizzak in 235/55R17.

I agree with you.

However, when we used to list them, we'd get many upset customers claiming that we were essentially teasing them by listing tires on our site that aren't available from us anymore. I tried to get the listings to stay, but the complaints were extremely numerous so the decision was made anyway to remove many unavailable tires from the web site listing.
