Any one had experiance with purchasing a door skin for an e34? I have been searching online all day and came up with nothing, nada, zilch, NAFT... :dunno:

www.car-part.com used parts dealer database, check there. Do the "by distance" search to find one close by if you can.

Thats good. The only problem I see is that we are on opposite sides of the country and shipping may be expensive? Please determine what shipping costs would be and include a total price in a PM. My zip is (See PM)

I tried that site yesterday. I can find a door with no problem for the front there or by just going to Queens NY, (the mecca of E34s) and find one in a salvage yard there for cheap but what I can not find for the rear is a "Door Skin" :cry: I can repair the rear door but to get it perfect (Without a $hit load of work, I need a skin.

But that is a great sight for locating parts across the US. Thanks for the input.

I parted out an e39 540i a year or two ago and shipped fenders and trunk lid out to california. The shipping was more than I charged the guys for the panels.

Yes indeed, We looked into that and the shipping would be three times more than the door. LOL... I guess I will pick one up local.
