Winter Tire Recommendations?

My bimmer dealer recommended I do not get run flat snow tires... Instead to get a flat fix kit.

I was considering Bridgestone Blizzaks, Dunlop Winter M3, Continental WinterContact, and Michelin Alpin PA3 (what the difference with PA2). Can anyone share your experiences with these tires in the run flat and non-run flat versions? Thx.

I like the Blizzack run flats better than the summer Bridgestones in regards to ride (softer).

They handle nicely in the dry as well.

They have been through lots of variable winter conditions here in the great white north and have performed admirably.

i've been pretty happy with my 2nd tier brand hancook w300 h-rated winters. :)
