tail/parking lights

Hello,
On my 89' 535i the left turn signal is blinking very fast. The right turn signal is blinking normal. after a while I get a message tail light then parking light on my dash. I checked all the bulbs and they are all working. help. thanks in advance...

put bmw bulbs back in it since someone probably put some american sized part store bulbs in it?

you are going to have to do more research.

fast flashing indicates open circuit or poor resistance.
