Let's the pro's and con's of these. I know of two for sale and am considering buying on.

I already know what they are and the specs. I'm curious why folks by them or steer clear of them.

Let's hear it.

A real Ltw?

Pros?
Very limited production, 125 made, and maybe 105 sold to the public.
Hand picked engines, the most stout of the production engines.
Came with all the cool parts, Splitter, strut brace, x brace, baffled oil pan, rear wing.
Special ammerata cloth/alcantara interior
Carbon fiber trim on shifter surround, and over glove box
Very little undercoating
Motorsport flags on the left front and right rear
Alpine white only.
No radio, no AC But wired for both...
Staggered forged ltw wheels, 7.5 in front, 8.5 in rear, 235-40-17's on all 4...
3.23 lsd... as opposed to the 3.15 in the other 95's

Cons,
No radio No AC
Much reduced sound deadening
sport seats instead of the vadors, but they do have the kewl cloth/alcantara...
Every problem that any E36 M3 has

So it's a slightly collectible car, but only if it's stock and comes with all the parts, and has low miles. Chances are it's been beaten on the track, a lot...

How much are they asking for them?

I've found two. One is 35K and the other is 39K.

Run me throughe the problems of an E36 M3.

All the other cons I can live with.

My other car options are a Porsche RS America or a Mini GP.

I bought mine back in October of 2007 for $23,500. All stock with 46,000 miles. It's been a great car on and off the track. It is defiantly more responsive and agile than a regular stock M3. I don't need to worry about charging the A/C, but it get hot in the summer. The noise is not bad at all. It kind of gives a raw feel to the car. If you can get one at a good price, do it.
