E39 Snow Tires/Wheel Pkg?

Hey Guys,

I just moved from Portland, OR to Chicago. Crazy right?! No, it's all good. Lots of family here. Anyhow, I'm interested in finding a set of BMW wheels that will fit my '98 540 Sport. There are all of these issues about offset etc. It would be easy enough to get a pair of aftermarket jobbers from tire rack, which I'm fine to do for the tires. But ideally, I'd like a set of older BMW's that fit perfectly as a second set next to my summers. Can anyone help me out?:thumbup:

Welcome to the fest. Being from the chicagoland area myself I will let you in on my secret e39 wheel source. http://chicago.craigslist.org/ I have bought a few sets now for my e39 there, all VERY good deals on good wheels. I got 2 sets of BBS, 1 set of Rial, and 1 set of snow wheels and tires. Oem take offs are commonly seen there for less than 400 a set, if you dont mind going with used wheels.
