Hello,

I have a set of new Pirelli PZero Rosso's fitted onto my E39 540i with the M-tech package. The rims are stock 235/45/R17 front and 255/40/R17 rear.

Lately I have been experiencing a funny sensation whilst driving. The car will pull to the left on roads with and without crowns. I had an initial alignment done and another done by BMW dealer but none resolved the issue.

My question is: is this pulling effect I am currently experiencing a feature of the Rosso's? Because the alignment didn't change the situation and the BMW tech informed me that there is nothing wrong with the car, i.e. control arms and the bushings are fine.

Tires have about 500 miles on them so they are completely broken-in. Appreciates your help and thanks in advance!

Cheers,
Angus

If the car consistantly pulls to just one side, that might be a tire issue. If you swap the front tires from left to right and the pull changes to the right, it is almost certainly a problem with one tire.
