I'm interested in possibly purchasing in cash a 2009 328i E90 sedan to purchase, not interested in leasing. It would most likely be a order since I want specific options. Can someone tell me what is fair price a dealer will offer. I will only be ordering locally and will not do a ED.

According to BMW Site Build Your Own the MSRP is $47500
I used the helpful info provided here to match up the exact confidential wholesale price (option per option) and the wholesale price comes to $43735

Would appreciate any advice and thanks in advance for your replies. :)

Remember that the dealer has to pay $180 training fee and a MACO ( advertising fee ) which varies but could be as much as $400. These are real costs and must be added to get the dealer's true cost.

$500 - $1200 over invoice (including training and MACO) is a fair and doable offer. Remember, you make the offer of what you're willing to pay, not the dealer making the offer of what he's willing to sell.
