Lease Financing for H1Bs

Hi Folks,

My lease was rejected as my H1B is expiring next year (But i still have another 3 years after that).

I also got a co-signer who is a citizen but even then the BMW Financials rejected it.
I have a good credit score.

I wanted to know if it is a new BMW rule?
cos my friends who are under H1 visa have leased it

Why did you show them your H-1B? How did that happen?

When you apply, you give your SS# and Driver License. You answer a few questions about income, employer name/ address, length of employment, length of residence, residence owner or renter etc. (but none of them about immigration status) and based on that information, you are either approved or denied.

This has been discussed in Ask A Dealer and possible Euro Delivery sections before. Please do a search there, but you'll probably find that it's not usually an issue.
