I'm new to this forum. Just bought my first BMW and want to replace and repair some things.

Does anyone know how I go about finding a cargo shade for my 93 touring? I want to replace the net with a shade.

I also want to replace the phone cradle with something else that is usable. Any suggestions, and how do I remove the cradle?

This is one of many places that you can locate used auto parts from. Also try google but I just came up empty on that shade.

shade?

which one?

there is the cargo COVER which fits across the hatch behind the cargo nets.

it is a separate piece so you do not have to give up the nets.

you can get those from a parted out wrecked touring that matches your color scheme (black, parchment, grey, etc)
keep an eye on ebay for a Touring parts car (how junkyards advertise without paying abazillion listing fees)

or call Eurodepot or Strictly German

there is a very EURO one that I have only seen once, and that one is a manual back window/hatch shade.

that one involves getting all the plastics for the hatch and the shade mechanism from a Euro Touring so equipped...
ie a good tint is cheaper and better

The Net is fixed to the back of the rear seat and can be raised to fit into brackets in the headliner. It is to stop cargo, dogs, dead bodies, etc. from rocketing forward into the passenger area during sudden reductions in velocity!!:):D
