540i/6's are such beasts to ride in (a good thing of course). I have yet to drive one, since both times my dad borrowed one from the dealer I didn't even have my licence yet. :mad:

BTW, how much do those rims weigh? Look heavy to me.

Ya might say heavy- and you'd be right- although, I am unsure about how heavy they are in comparison to other 19's-

With the tires, they are 55llbs each. My understanding is that the tires are about 20llbs each- putting them far beyond BBS RKI's light weights, but still acceptable- for me- when you see them on the car.

One day, outside of warranty, this thing'll be force inducted by Dinan or ESS. At 450HP, I can afford heavy wheels. For now, I'll just sit, look pretty, and sacrifice the 40 or so llbs.

And when I say one day- I mean one day a loooong way away- it's under CPO until 09/2006 or until I reach 100K miles. Since I only have 18K now, and it's two years old, I expect my wife will be expecting before I supercharge *my* baby.

Whatever floats your boat I suppose. Then again, with weight like that they could sink the ship. :p

I'm pretty sure that even with these anchors, my boat will outrun your dingy..:p

As I was typing that, I thought about something adding some clever nautical reference to zipping around buoy's, but I wanted to see if you'd bring up the agility. :)

You're right. the 650llbs you reference doesn't even take into account the drivers' weight differences. And, I'm a biiiig buoy :(
