Hello. I was looking to change the rims on my car and saw this ad. I'm a new BMW owner and don't know too much about rim sizes. Found this ad online and it seems like a good idea but not sure if it is or whether it will fit my car. If you can help me out, it'd be appreciated. :)

AD:
these wheels came off of my 2002 5series bmw.
they may also fit on other models.
staggered sizes. 235/40/18 front and 265/35/18 rear.
95% pirelli tires on the front. the rears need to be replaced.
fronts are little curbed
dont wait until spring or summer when everyones prices on wheels go up. winter is the best time to save.

i believe thats an E39, the offsets AND centerbore will be wrong for an E90.

E39 offsets were in the 20s, E9x offsets are in the mid 30s.

centerbore for the E39 is 74.1, E9X are 72.5

you may rub on the outside fenders, and you'll need hubcentric rings to bring the wheel down to the correct centerbore. i personally would pass. the list of parts you'll need is:
hubcentric rings, lug bolts. and you'll possibly need your front and rear fenders rolled.
