So I put on the snows with rims today. I have a couple of months to deal with the rest-of-year wheels. What maintenance should I do?

1) Good cleaning all around to get off brake dust
2) Claybar to remove tar spots

Anything else? Should I use a wire brush to clean off the rust and crud on the inside where the wheel mounts to the hub and rotor?

Okay to store them stacked and lying flat on ground?

Just leave that their current pressure and reinflate once reinstalled in spring?

I've seen wheel storage covers for about $35 from Bavauto that look pretty nice. I would wax the wheels once I cleaned them-up. You could also buy some "discs" that fit between your wheel & rotor. I forget what they are called but they cut down on the oxidation that occurs and your wheels will be easier to remove the next time you take them off. I believe stacked flat is the correct way to store them, I'm not certain about the air pressure, but I wouldn't put less than the factory recommended air pressure in them.

And stored in a cool (not freezing), dry, ventilated place away from sunlight. If you stack them and they're not in bags, you need to put wood slats between them to keep them separated (wide enough not to mark the sidewalls). I guess after cleaning, you could apply some of the purple Meguiar's tire protectant on the sidewalls as well. In case there's any, it is also a good time to get wheel rash repaired, it is a lot easier with them off the car.

Thanks for the tips . . .

For wax, same as for the car or something different? I use P21S wax on the car.

I have the cardboard dividers that came with the wheels/snow tires--those sufficient?
