I have a well maintained 94 325is with 67,000 miles on it that I just bought. I was wondering if had any suggestions on modifying my car. Air Intake, Performance Chip, Exhaust System, Headers ETC... Which order - or anything else in mind? I can do any of those this week, let me know what I should do. I'll have before and after pictures for you too. Thanks guys.

Let the chip be the last performance mod that you do. Having said that, my next question would be what is your budget? If possible get CAI and exhaust system at the same time...
Other mods to consider are 1995 m3 cams and lsd.

My budget i'm willing to put in it will be around 2000 or so. I'm thinking intake, cam, exhaust, then chip. In that order, Sounds about right? Thanks for the info, its rough finding a legit shop around her in my town, bmw dealerships are exspensive too. I'm just gonna have to look around. Where can I find a 95 m3 cam at?

yea chip last for sure, then u can get a chip thats meant specifically for your mods and will actually make that exhaust and CAI do something.

you pretty much got performance jobs down, first id make sure everything is totally maintained, change all fluids etc, make sure everything is running good, basically tune up.

secondly besides performance get a nice suspension setup

and if you go with some m3 cams, be sure before you purchase them that they are actually m3 cams, not 328/325 cams because this happens a lot even from "legit" shops and people get screwed over.

Pretty much what I was going to say. If you can do the CAI and exhaust at the same time. I got my Remus a while ago and it was not until I put in a BMC airbox later that I got the full effect and sound. Both together are fantasitc.

Make sure youre suspension is nice and tight. Mine recently needed some work done and one it was all complete the difference was HUGE!!

You might also want to consider an X brace, and for later a light weight flywheel - now that makes a huge difference. Check out the UUC website. They have some good reading adn their products are also fantastic!!
