Hello all:

Here in Orlando I have an 09 535i with sport package. Next year I plan on putting BMW style 172 rims on along with a set of continental contact sport 3's. A couple of questions:

1) Would you recommend installation by the following:

a. Goodyear, firestone ?

b. Independent BMW mechanic?

2) Are the Continentals Run flat tires?

3) Can you usually have the rims and tires sent to the installer to have them installed?

4) Is it usually just better to have the tire and wheel ordered at the same time, or am I okay ordering them seperately?

5) If you know, who is the best person in Orlando for tire installation on a BMW besides the dealership.

Thanks!

Continental makes both runflat and non-runflat Contact 3 tires. The runflat version will say "SSR" on the tire.

The Tire Rack can ship anywhere that UPS delivers to, including a tire shop.

The advantage of ordering wheels and tires at the same time is that we'll do the mounting and balancing at no charge before they're shipped out.

How do you feel about the independent BMW shops?

I would orders tires AND wheels, however you do not supply the BMW OEM wheels that I want.

Thanks.

Unfortunately I do not have direct experiece with any of these shops, however there may be some customer reviews on our site about our tire installers.
