My wipers stay on and will not shut off. Is this a relay? What do you think?

The power flows through the Wiper Relay (located in the rear power distribution box), to the Relay Module and General Module (also located in the rear power distribution box)(Relay and Modules are located under the rear seat on the left hand side), on to the Wiper/Washer Switch and finally to the Wiper motor.
Your problem could in the wiper/washer switch on the steering wheel column. The Relay and Modules you can probably find in a junk yard.

Well, if you have spare Modules and a Relay you can just swap these out one at a time. That's pretty easy. For the switch on the steering column you'll have to remove the steering wheel and then the bottom part of the steering column cover to access the Wiper Switch. This should only take you 15 minutes to half an hour. I think it's in the Wiper Switch, sound like a bad connection. What ever you want to do first is up to you.

Ohya, I haven't had this problem yet!! I have removed the steering Wheel a few times though. I have also replaced the General Module and Relay modules for other problems. Hope this helps you a bit.

Here's a picture of the Rear power Distribution Box under the rear seat on the left hand side. The upper figure in the pic is from the 1989-1990 and the lower is from the 1991-1992. The Relay fuse is number 4 in the lower figure and number five in the upper figure.
