View Full Version : new wheels ordered!
I couldn't wait for the GB anymore, mainly because my rear tires are almost gone. Just ordered my new setup through TireRack and Gary, thanks TONS for his help btw! TR is an excellent company and Gary has been super patient with answering all my emails and stuff!
There is a slight chance that they might arrive before the holiday...
SSR Competition 18x8.5 Anthracite
ES100 235/40-18
I'm getting the wheels with the SSR Caps, they're out of stock right now and Gary would ship them to me when they get them!
Can't wait to get them!

DIAM! I just got a call from a lady at TR to confirm my order and the shipping address, and she told me they will be shipped today. I asked if they'd get here by Thursday and she said she didn't see any reason why not. WOW! that's FAST!

Do you get a discount for being a bimmerfest.com member? :D Because I'm in the market for a set of 18" Hamann PG2s with tires, looking to buy real soon...:dunno:

Do you have a link that allows me to shop by weight?
What is the lightest 18" wheel that you carry?

I think the SSR Comps are the lightest, they're 16.5lb according to TireRack's database. The OZ Superleggera's are next, at ~18lb.
here's a link to a wheel weight table:

Thanks, I'll post pics. I hope the car won't look too lifted with the wheels on. Otherwise I'd have to do the Bilstein PSS9 GB... but then I should prolly put sways on also, and it will never stop... :(

Hi Andrew,
Looking forward to your photos also.
Have you seen how Anthracite rims look on a black car?

Hi Gary,
So, you no longer carry KOSEI K-1 rims? They are still displayed on your website at $199 for 17x8.5 (or 17x8) size.
If you do carry them, do you have (or can you get) a center caps for them, if someone buys a set?
Thanks,
AlexM520

We can still get, but there is no cap for this fitment, and it requires a fender roll in most applications. Basically a track wheel.

I've seen it on white cars, I've seen the OZ SL on a black car, similar color, I think... looks
well, we'll see... doesnt look like I'll get them til next Monday...
and TR's "track order" button returned a java.lang.NullPointerException... didn't the guys learn they should try these and catch and handle them later? that's such a common exception and they should return something more sane...

Go to the tirerack website and track your order with the order number . . . it should get you some better results
When you use the link from the email they send you to track it, it doesn't always work . . .
