I came across this on a site while looking for some random info:

Now, I don't read Thai (at least I think that's what the language is) but from the way the engine looks, and the '1JZGTE' readable in the text, it looks like someone took a 2.5l shrunken Supra Turbo motor and put it in a E36.
Seems counterintuitive to us, but I'd bet in SE Asia it's much easier to find Toyota motors over large-displacement BMW ones.
