I have recently been away for a few days and when I returned the battery on my 1991 320i (M50 engine) was completely drained. Prior to this I was having issues with the alarm and the interior lights. The interior lights were not going off when the ignition switch turned on or when the alarm or central locking activated. I didn't have time to have a detailed look at this before I went away so just whipped out the interior light fuse.
Electrics are not my thing really anyone any ideas where to start looking for the fault?

um, the only thing i could think of is that the light switch up front musta been on on the whole time. as far as i know there are three clicks. one for the door, one for off and the other for permanently on. so maybe it was on the on postition the whole time :dunno:
