Hi,
I finally took out my automatic transmission in my 96 328i, and put in a 5 sp tranny. The old parts have 80k on them, and are in excellent condition. I just bought the car not too long ago from an older lady who kept up the inspections and i am sure she didnt drive it that hard.
I had to replace a lot of parts in the swap:
automatic transmission- $500
driveshaft- $200
Torque converter-
Tranny fluid cooler-
All parts interior- shifter, safety switch, knob-
automatic pedal box-
make me an offer on any of these parts. Thanks!
