fitting a sub

i've got a e36 316i and the battery is under the bonnet unlike other e36's so there for i am having trouble wiring my sub up, does anyone know how i can feed a wire from the battery to the boot without drilling holes in my car,

Check the existing holes in the firewall. If you can fit the wire through one of the grommets, go for it. If not, you'll need to punch another hole through the firewall. Since you'll be running heavy gauge wire, chances are you'll need to punch a new hole.

where wood be the best place to punch a hole in the fire wall be, cause i dont wanna catch anything when drilling a hole
