Anyone know if it is posable to download the latest software and then burn it onto a DVD? also dose anyone know where i can find the latest navigation software?

Yes it's definately possible and there are forums that have some rather detailed descriptions on where to get and how to do it. I'm pretty sure this forum though doesn't condone it, but googling it should turn up some good results "BMW 2009.1 Software" There's some talk going on cause people tried to fit it on a single layer dvd and had to cut stuff out. There's also downloads for the full dual layer dvd.

But once again that's just my guess, I don't really condone that either ^_^

Yes the software is out there if you check the torrent sites. I was lucky and had a 2009 528 X drive loaner the other week with the new NAV dish and I did make a copy of it. So yes its possible and easy to do.
