Is this cool, or what?

For our 10th anniversary show, we are proud to offer the most incredible event site we could find.
Located less than a quarter of a mile from the Pacific Ocean, what an idyllic setting...

Check it out!!

:supdude:

Please note that by Springtime, the grass will be lush and green. Please don't even think about doing burnouts or spinning donuts!!

:eeps:

I REALLY hope that everyone has their traction control turned on and does NOT try to do anything stupid with the grass. Even one bad apple could ruin the fun for everyone. Thanks for getting us in there Jon!!! :D

I drive this place almost daily its beautiful during the spring when its bright green, its on the inland side of the 101 not the ocean side but its easy to get across, and if you go to santa clause lane exit there is an amazing beach right off the exit, you just have to park on the street that runs along the rail road tracks and cross the tracks to get to the beach but its one of the cleanest around Santa Barbara.

Hey Jon, the Polo Grounds parking area will definitely be spacious enough, but for the display areas, will they be shaded, and what about food and beverage vendors? Great job last year, btw, and this event has a huge following.

Jake, we're going to be in the sun, but the temperature will be regulated by the cool Pacific breeze coming off the ocean just across the road.

Food and beverage will be provided by the Polo Club. Since this aspect is a relative unknown, I encourage everyone to pack a snack just in case...

Crap, now I can't walk. Seriously though, I think most will like the Polo Fields. For those of you that have kids, the Pardaro Grill on Santa Claus Lane has a nice open area next to the beach where kids can run around (they have sand and toys) and not get lost. Its even fun for those with no kids. Good beer and food.

From what I've seen by going on the Polo Ground's website is no, there's not much shade and /or buildings, that why we're bringing pop-ups, canopies, I suggest you do the same.

This will be my 9th year (I didn't know about the first one) and I've learned to bring my own "refreshments", water, chairs and now this year, pop-ups.

I probably will. It'll be the "water cooler" (as in the spot where all the co-workers hang out and shoot the s#!t) of the fest. It'll have a couple of lawn chairs outside with a hookah, and more seat inside for the tired feet of those weary from walking past 2000+ Bimmers!

I'm sure I'll have to clear it with Jon first though.

Will there be someplace on the grounds, or close by, where trucks and/or RVs with trailers can park and unload their car(s)?
Maybe consider the possibilty of an extra early entrance fee to accommodate trucks with trailers, or for those that tow with an RV, charge a $100-150 to stay the night before BF??

Unfortunately dogs are NOT allowed this year. The Polo fields insurance does not allow dogs on the property. They can be in your car, but are not allowed out on the grounds.

Sorry :(
