alternator and good again?

1993 BMW 318I fix or parts - $1400


BMW 318I its a 1.8L, 5 speed its got 153,000 miles in fair shape but for some reason it has a charging problem but will run if you jump it and as soon as you take them off the car will die. has many good parts and runs great when running

what do you think this is and worth me buying it and fixing?

If it is a 318, then why does it say 325is on it? :dunno:

Its what 318's do instead of putting and ///M badge on it. hahah

you can get a running 318i for about the same price. Who knows what other things are wrong with this one. On the other hand, car could be really well taken care of otherwise, and fixing it could be as easy as tighing up a loose ground.
