anyone know if the arm rests on the E36 328is will fit on a E36 325i?
do they bolt/screw into the seats or the centre console ?
if it's the seats they screw into im probably stuffed:mad::thumbup:, but if it screws onto the centre console i might be able to make a bracket up.

Are you talking about the rest in the rear for a sedan? Or the front?
The front screws into the center console, if you use the search button or google it, you will find a DIY on how to remove and attach it. I've read one before.

Does that still count as a hijack if the question was answered before the conversation began? Wouldn't that be considered more of an elaboration of the subject? Just my two cents because the evolution of the topic made me laugh. And scotte36, you got off easily. That was no where near as hijacked as it could have been. :D
Did you try changing the armrests yet?

You didn't say if you'd gotten them yet or not. Never know, sometimes people just stumble upon parts and say "hey, now that I have this, let's see if it'll fit." I was working off of the basis that you had the parts in hand. :p

I didn't want to start a new topic about arm rest... but i am looking for the new style ones that come with the cupholders and coinholder. Someone on this site had theirs for sale a while back... would really like one. I don't fancy the Bav Auto ones much.

Weak sig pic I say.
You left out the part that he was there for not just the new body style BMWs ;) Some of the ones that are everyone likes have Bangle in them. How can you fault the guy that kept BMW at the front of the line? Making MONEY!

You're an opinionated bastard, Halston....
I know he did play a part in a lot of my personal favorites, but then something happened and he went insane. Now, I've heard some say that van Hooydunk had a lot to do with the BS that went on in some of the current models, but no one really knows that and Bangle is the one who was head of design and ultimately approved and encouraged the current design language.
BMW just released the "5 Series Gran Turismo Concept." Take a look through the pics and tell me if you really think this kind of thing is true to the 5 series or BMW. It makes the Aztek look like a beauty queen!

And seriously, this is how I always pictured Bangle when he was designing things. Glad there's finally a picture that captures him the way I always imagined!!!

Exactly. They tried to squeeze the X6 into some mish mash of proportions.
The X6 didn't even look good to begin with. GAH I hate what they've done to BMW.

+1, except for the new m3's aaaah they are so nice, and the new 7 series, woah, those look BA. But roundel magazine says, "Right car, Wrong time?"
