I am restoring the interior of my E36 325i, the B pillar cover has a small hole in it, and I want to replace it with a new one. was wondering if anyone has removed a B pillar cover before, and if it is easy to do?

Looks like the ruber trim around the door & the seatbelt ring will need to be removed for the cover to be taken out?

Any tips of ideas will be much appreciated!!

Pull of the rubber trim, its that simple. The seat belt has to be removed which I believe is 17 or 19 mm nut.

You have to take the rubber off and the plastic trim at the bottom at each door and it will come right off.
After you take the seat belt off ofcourse..:)
That's what i done when i took everything off the inside and cleaned the car.
Its about 5-10 min max of work to take if off.

Yep, pretty easy job. I had to remove mine when I replaced the seat belt.

Cheers for the replies, is the rubber trim easy to put back on? I am also replacing the seatbelt, and my sagging glove box, should be good once done. thanks!
