look on craigslist, depending on your area I am pretty sure you can find a used muffler for yo car, I know apexi N1 mufflers are loud, you Dont want that on your car. I bet it can be installed but you know you dont want to waste the money getting it welded when you could find a used bolt on one on craigslist or something. as for the badge removal, you cant always get it off without damaging the paint. Sometimes when you take it off the glue takes some paint with it. get a plastic putty knife and some goof-off or Xylene or some other solvant and do your best to pop off the badge. Then use the solvant to remove any excess adhesive, after that give the entire trunk a good wax and you should be in good shape!

i used fishing line to remove the badge and used goo-gone to remove the rest of the adhesive( if you use the fishing line,
dig in there half way and put the solvent in the opening so the badge just falls off)

Go out with a blowdryer and blowdry the badge for 7-10 minutes (until its hot to the touch) then take either dental floss or fishing wire and slowly run it between the badge and the trunk. then if you have any remaining sticky stuff rub with goof off until thats gone.

That works the best. It works, and you don't scratch your paint, just go slow with it.
