I have an aftermarket stereo and it has an AUX mode but the plugin is in the back. My question is: if I plug a cord in the back can I string it through the little hole under the AC controls? to plug my ipod in? The hole I'm talking about is in the roof of the little storage compartment under the AC and heater controls.

Thanks,
Riley

I'm just wondering if anyone who has had their dash apart can tell me if there is room to string it through before I take my dash apart.

Not sure about that one; however, I ran cables for my ipod from the back of my headunit over to the glovebox (ipod connector sits inside), and it worked fine.

I done exactly what you are asking and it was a pice of cake. :D
Its very simple and there is room. I have the AUX cable and Ipod connection cable thru that hole..

Yeah, it works in either the glovebox or below the OBC. Mine was in the glovebox, it makes a good place for the extra wire but it's not as convenient.

Yeah its works i have mine like that.
You don't have to take the AC out to do that tho, if you take the glovebox out instead you can thread it from the back of the head unit to that hole, its much easier than taking the AC controls out. :)
