okay... so i went to smog test my car and i thought everything was working well.....

then it turns out that my check engine light bulb burned...

and on the list of diagnostic trouble codes reported that my idle control system is faulty... and my camshaft position sensor ""A"" circuit (bank 1 or single sensor) is also on the list....

i fixed the bulb for the check engine light... and i searched about the camshaft sensor and some say it goes out at about 90k... and i have 120 k miles =X... they also said that the plugs might be dirty also...

as for the idle control system i dont know exactly what to check... i searched and they said that the MAF sensor might be the case..injectors might be broken..or a vacuum leak near the intake box. you guys have any ideas what else to check?

sad sad day for me...

oh and when the engine is cold the idle is all crappy. and sounds like it wants to shut off.. i rev it acouple times and it does the same thing. but after it warms up it's all fine...

any ideas here? =( i need to fix all these stuff in 60 days.. lol help a fella out here guys!

clean your idle control valve, as a first step. Then i reccomend you do a tune up, and see what the result are then.

use carb cleaner for the ICV could be something other than the maf but you say it was running good when it was off?
