my driver side window wont open or close.
it isnt giving me a fault on the idrive screen.
yet another issue to add on to the list :mad:

Some people have had success by synching the window. I cant remember for sure but i think its holding button down or up for thirty seconds it may work if your not getting a fault if you are then its probably a regulator or motor.

i was having issues with it coming back down when i would try to close it a few weeks ago, i did the whole 30 second thing and it seemed to work.
so that was the first thing i tried, it didnt help. :(
i even tried turning the car off and on, opening all the windows with the remote, but the driver side window wont budge.:violent:

You arent getting a fault when its stuck? I had same problem and i would get window not initializing fault.

there are software faults for opening windows? sometimes I really wonder about the design of this car...

was it just one window or all of yours?

can you at least hear the motor trying to pull the window down?

i dont hear the motor at all.
would this be covered under warrany?

there are software faults for opening windows? sometimes I really wonder about the design of this car...



germans are top notch for engineering:thumbup:

how do you put the windows down with the remote? all of my other cars do this but i didnt think the 7 did.

Continue to hold down the unlock button and it will roll down the windows first, then open the sunroof.
