I decided to give these a shot in favor of the S03s. They were great but due to a string of unfortunate car related issues, my budget is not where it should be.
If anyone has any experience with them, please chime in. :)
I think it's safe to say that the S03s are done except maybe for a dry track day. Normal wet weather driving is a bit scary now.
Plenty of tread left on yours

Technically yes, but at the moment they're waiting for me in the parts department at Hendrick. I'm going to have them mounted & balanced either tomorrow or next week after hours. I'm hoping for tomorrow since we've been getting short but numerous monsoons all week and with the S03s the way they are, I'm hydroplaning all over the place. :thumbdwn:
Some perks of the new job so far: wheels (for the Honda) and tires at wholesale and no charge for labor. :bigpimp: If I start selling alot of cars, I could see myself getting into trouble with these kinds of discounts... :eeps:
You should have gotten ES100s...
even with my weak engine, I can oversteer in the try sometimes :eeps:

Maybe next time. For some reason, I've had an urge to try these out for awhile now. On paper, the Yoko's appear to be a slightly better tire and about $66 cheaper too. :banghead:

The Kumho MX does have superior dry grip and cornering over the ES100.
I just had my first autox since I put the Kumho Ecsta MXs on my rears (I still have my S-03s on the front) and they did very well through 3 heats. But in the 4th heat, they seemed to melt. They became very slick.
Whcih, of course, makes me wonder how they'll stand up to a track day.

Interesting. I think I'm at the point where I'm going to invest in a set of dedicated track wheels and tires. I have a birthday coming up in a few months so I think I just picked my present...
