another fun thing i found out while i was looking at my headers today....the place where the vanos are or w.e when reving up my engine it rattles bad like someone put marbles in a can :eeps: but it seems that after like 3grand it stops....im guessing this isnt good..how do i fix this or even is this a bad prob i just need help cuz i know nothing about the vanos except that it adjusts the timing or w.e

All VANOS does that after a little while. It's really not urgent, but you'll get back some lost engine response when you fix it. Dr. Vanos has a good kit, check out his website.

yea my response is not all that makes sense....how hard is that to do
My engine sounds like a chainsaw.... While driving. Its not hard. I have changed out my vanos once. I have also been looking that the DR Vanos stage 2.

I had the vanos replaced on my mz3 , on tick over the engine was a little lumpy and the vanos was noisy (marbles in a tin) and on a warm start up for about 3 seconds , i was told the exhaust vanos was sticking , after it was changed the above symptoms had gone , but couldn't really tell any difference in perfomance . JJ .
