And now with 4 x brand new tyres, BMW wheels, pelican parts cup holders, wood grain surround, clear indicators, K&N air filter...

Ok so most of it is cosmetic but it is a 318i, nuff said. And I also plan to get the bumpers painted and get some fog lights.

Nice! That shifter surround looks sweet.

What is it with Aussies and mudflaps? I was considering doing a study abroad in Australia, but I think I'd die if I had to drive a car with mudflaps....
Oh, and the K&N is a HUGE step BACKWARDS. Go buy a new OEM filter or get a real filter. K&N is an overpriced screen and totally useless.

Oh, and the manual windows (!!!) and cloth seats still trip me out dude.

I'm gonna see what my BMW looks like without mudflaps now, and as for the "P" it is a "Provisional licence". Tighter restrictions for younger drivers 0.00 blood alcohol concentration, um, I'm sure there are other things to.

The wheels helped out a lot. Looks awesome!

The mudflaps are so they don't fling mud from the tires all over their booty.... duh. Geez, some guru you are.

I'm liking the colour, the RHD, and the glass headlights (same as mine of course), as opposed to plastic scratched ones.

Lack of electric front windows does suck, I have them, but my rear windows are manual also.

Mudflaps make the car look like a family car, but I don't think they necessarily look bad.

We both have the same 115HP 168 N/m engine. It sucks, but you can actually pretty well keep up with a 318is or 320 up to a certain RPM point, especially if you hit the accelerator first and shift properly.

I bet it handles better with those alloys on instead of hubcaps!

I sprayed my bumpers too, initially went with clear indicators, then went back to amber.

Eagle eyes, that's your new name. We were discussing booties  The front bumper has all sorts of road rash and evilness from the previous owner, that would be why I don't take many direct front shots until I get a new bumper (yeah, it's that bad that I don't even think new paint would be enough to fix it), but that isn't a priority ATM.

I should've known that, sorry long night and all I could think of as "door card" were the room keys in hotels. Still not done... believe me, I'll have pics and the whole nine yards when they're finally finished.

The wheels were on when I bought her, and I like them. For now at least. I didn't there for a while, but they grew on me. I've always been a sucker for a simple 5 spoke, and these were close enough to make me happy. Hm, I don't see the E36 as "bulky". The lines are sleek and elegant, and look more streamlined to me than bulky. I feel the rims fit with the simplicity, and clean elegance of design, and don't clutter up the profile.

It's secret. I'd have to kill you if I told you. Beer goggles? You drunk posting on us, Eagle Eyes? It's named Slasher because when I went to pick it up, it was on the trailer and not just one, but two of the wheels on the trailer shredded within half an hour of each other. Then I couldn't sleep while we were waiting on a tire shop to open, and in my delirium I started wondering how you'd pronounce the ///M slashes.... and it all tied together into a name, and unfortunately it stuck.
