Why not borrow a peske autoscan tool and turn it off, I'm sure someone in that big island of yours will lend you a hand.

I don't think a Peake tool will do it, will it?

What is it you're intending on doing ? If you're intending on removing an airbag as in taking the steering wheel out , check the resistence of the airbag with a multimeter and put a resister of same resistance in it's place , i've done this with side and seat airbags before . I always disconnect the battery a good hour or so before taking seats/airbags out and then when i replace the seats/airbags the light doesn't come on as it would normally with the system being disturbed . As for the occupancy mats i've never seen 1 . JJ .
