Hi Everyone, I hope someone out there can help me out with my issue
I have xenon headlamps and my passenger side bulb went out last week, the headlamps are brand new (only 6 months old) and i was shocked when a bulb went out. I took the bulb to get replaced (not a BMW dealer) everythign is working fine but now the replaced bulb gives out a yellow color and the original bulb (not replaced) is a bright white, which is the original color I had. Does anyone know why this happened? do i have to replace BOTH bulbs in order to get that white light back or am i stuck with one yellow light, one white forever? Please please please tell me what i have to do to make my car normal again!

My guess is they used a different brand as a replacement, which has a lower Kelvin rating.

i honestly have no idea what that means, can you help me out? The replacement is directly from BMW parts, so its whatever they had in stock

Kelvin is a measurement of color temperature:

If both the new bulb and the other bulb are BMW parts, then it could be the new one is defective.
