same here, not sure if I like it yet and I think they're starting to make the kidney grills too big. . .but I must say it's the best looking rendering I've seen so far.

One things for sure...it beats the hell out the E60 front end. The E60's front end is really the only thing I could never warm up to about the new body.

Rendering, the key word. Most renderings, even close ones, exaggerate the details of the actual car. Check out the artist's rendering of the new Z4 and the actual car.

Funny how personal taste works - I kinda think the front end of the E60 is what makes the car (esp. love those headlights with the M5 body kit on the 2008 LCIs!), but I still have a really hard time with the big ass on my car.
The E60 body style took a while to grow on me, but now I totally love it. Well, from the C pillar forward at least. If only Bangle could have made that big friggin' whale tail not so tall and the tail lights so slanty-eyed.

I have no idea whats going on with the new BMW grills, kind of have the click and drag effect of expanding a browser window or playing on windows paint... Especially on the new 7. Whatever it is I'm not a big fan..... Other than that It looks pretty mean!

not sure if I'm liking BMW's oversized kidney grills. The new 7 series could definitely use something smaller...

It will probably look very similar to the 5 Series GT that was revealed earlier this year.

I think the kidney grilles will be big. They are on the new 7 and the new Z4. However, I don't like that. They should be getting smaller, not larger. It doesn't make aero sense (even if it doesn't affect the aero.) Overall I like this rendition of the F10. I do have a couple of complaints. The lower grille needs some more refinement and the I don't like the headlights extended out as they appear to be. I think the sides are quite close to what will be since they are similar to the new 7. I still like my e60, but the F10 may grow on me.

first the 1 series, and now this? what the hell is happening to bmw? this rendering is so obnoxious, youd think they hired the same guy who designed the hyundai genesis.

I guess we just have to get used to the big-ass twin kidneys as it appears to be BMW's direction for now. I thought when Bangle left the nonsense would stop, but apparently I'm wrong! :(

Unfortunately, I think that you are right. For the last three BMW's that I purchased, I felt that I had to settle for some type of design flaw that I would have to get used to. Very disappointing. If it wasn't for the great engineering and driving experience I would be driving another brand today. I don't know why BMW can't get its "design' act together. If and when it does, it will be the absolute perfect vehicle, period.

Don't like the kidney grills either, but like with many new designs, I may grow to like the design in time. It has a mean stance though. I didn't like the E60 when it came out but now I love its lines, so for me I guess time will tell . . .

The bigger kidneys/flatter front ends like the new 7's are mandated by European pedestrian safety regulations. Get used to it, it's the wave of the future on just about everything.
