I know people will give me crap for this, but I hate the way Porsches look. When I see a porsche I see a fast VW Beetle. But my friend has a Porsche 911 with a turbo and who knows what else under the hood (I mean trunk sorry.) He has 756 horsepower dyno proven. It is so fast and loud, but when i look at it i see a glorified VW Beetle, I'm sorry.

Haha, that is really funny to me because I love top gear and fifth gear, but mostly top gear. But I honestly don't remember Clarkson, May, or Hammond ever saying that about the Porsche, but it does sound like something Clarkson would say. Well i new i would get hating from people for that opinion but I'm just telling it like it is. I dislike the way almost every Porsche looks. They are getting better but the old Porsches like my friends are just so ugly in my mind. I guess that is what is so great about cars though, some may hate a car while others love a car. Your car is your own and not everyone elses so if you own a Porsche i may not like it but if you like it then it doesn't matter. This may also sound dumb but i think of cars as one of the highest artforms. You have the body is sculpting, the paint is a painting, the exhaust is music to my ears, and while containing so many artistic qualities it provides a function. I love cars.

You need to catch up on your top gear. I recall Clarkson ranting about it a few times, and May or Hammond (can't remember which one) joined in most of the time too.

You typed word for word what Clarkson says on 95% of the episodes... if it has a Porsche in the episode he says it 164 times.

It is just blasphemy. You haven't driven a well sorted Porsche have you? Or really and truly experienced one?

You are correct i have not driven a Porsche, but I am not denying that it is a great driving car. I am saying that it is a bad looking car in my mind. Its an opinion and I am not trying to offend you or anything. I actually extremely into car designs and have fun dreaming up my own cars in my head then drawing them (I am also good at art). As i reread that sentence i sound really cocky but I really am not sorry. I like cars that push the envolope in design and I think the Porsche does indeed do that but I still dont like it. Maybe you are right Jeremy Clarkson is brainwashing me. My favorite cars are the ones that completely ignore what a car is supposed to look like. I think that they could be put into production and be great but too many people prefer a car that looks like every other car. Here are some nice designs I found to show you what I mean.
