:) Just wanted to say a big thanks for the advice regarding my temperature gauge falling whilst driving at speed.
I paid for the thermostat to be replaced, and hey presto the needle sits comfortably in the middle.

thanks to all once agAIN:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

By the way My FF alarm will only work 12 hours after i have locked the car with the keys. If I press the alarm button before that, my alarm will start ALARMING :dunno:

One more thing, if the ABS light is on will a OBD tell me why????

thats all folks

No, the ABS light is its own light I believe. OBD only covers emissions-related issues.

Will it be a case of resetting it???

Yeah, you can reset it, but if it still comes on you may have a problem with the ABS. I'm pretty sure taking off the (-) battery cable should reset that light.

ABS light is usually suggestive of bad wheel speed sensors.

I had my t-stat replaced last week. It needed it on my E36 as well, but since the radiator was so bad and the coolant so poor as a heat conductor, the open t-stat was not a huge issue. With the E46, the engine was barely getting out the blue zone so it needed doing a.s.a.p.
