I have a 95 325i Convertible and in the glove compartment is a connector that looks like sometime is missing. Should there be something connected to this or is it for diagnostics?

Thanks
Brian

Look in your owners manual it might just shine a light on what that plug is for.

If he had the thing that should be there, he could shine a light on the owner's manual ;)

It's the holder for the wimpy OEM flashlight. It's cool to have just cuz it's cool, and could be helpful in a pinch, like looking for something you dropped in the car since the courtesy lights don't illuminate everything so great. You plug it in and it keeps it charged. But you should have a good, bright floodlight in the trunk anyway. That thing has saved me so many times (I think my tires are magnetic to nails....).

I have a nice LED flashlight I carry with me in the glove box at all times, mine didn't come with the OEM flashlight. Always good to have just in case...
