Hi there,i've been busy and had not much time for driving my beemer,but now i'me making some mods again,i've built in a rearview camera in the backdoor of my touring with a 7inch sreen inside(pics will follow if everything is in place) and i put in a Alpine headunit but now here is the problem:since the radio has been switched i have bad radio reception with this unit.Is it possible i need to give my standard antenna power via the adapted harness plug of the new headunit and how do i have to do this,i mean wich colors have the wires i need to connect and on the radio is this the wire they cal the remote?Hope you can help me!!!kind regards,Tjeuke

Aber, mein Deutsch ist besser ...

If you do post some photos it's a lot easier to see what wires you mean, BUT for certain, you will need to connect the antenna cable (with RF connector) to your new unit. IF you have a power (up and down) antenna in your car (Not a North American model?) then yes you must have the small group of wires connected to that antenna also.
