24.5 lbs for 18x8.5, not sure if they make an 18x9

Well I guess that is a little better, considering it is wider wheel than stock and weighs less. I really like those RG 8's from Evosport, but I the price is killing me, I know I will bend a rim from time to time, and at double the price of the CH's I am thinking that is going to get cost probitive.

The CH being wider and lighter certainly seems like a better choice than what I have now.

I was just on tire rack and BBS makes a RG-R that looks like the RG8 from evosport, it is also supposed to weight 19 pounds, and is considerablly cheaper than the evosport wheel. Any thoughts?

Since you mentioned getting Brembo's, the RG-R's will not clear them.

The RG8 is supposed to be the lightest, strongest wheel out there.

The RG8 is a rock...and at 18 lbs....probably one of the lightest strongest wheels in the world....one piece forged...strong stuff....

If someone bends a Rg8....its from a landmine with underinflated tires....like 10lbs pressure.....rock solid wheel...

forgot to mention....the RGR's like Atyclb said...will not clear big brake kits.....the rg8's were designed to....

also...the rgr only comes in diamond black....while the rg8's come in diamond black and silver.....here's some pics..

Steve, I couldn't help but notice the NASA stickers on the side of your car. Ryan Flaheerty and John Lindsey, the national directors of NASA are acutally close friend of mine out here in So Cal.

I want more info on how you mounted those sparco seats in your car.?

Will RS-GT's clear BBK's? (for example, an 18x8.5")

Not likely, both those and the RG-R have very little brake caliper clearances...
