Looking to buy a 1999 328IC with 51,000 miles, one owner car per Carfax.

Auto, harman/premium option

Blk/tan

Always love this body style, want a vert to cruise in as a second car for me & the Ms.

seller wants $13K is this to much cash. I'm thinking it is about $3K over.

I guess keep in mind, these cars are only getting harder to find with low mileage. I really do not care for the later models...I always wanted an E36 model.

What do you think is the going price?....fair price?....KBB/NADA are lost these days

Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the Fest!

I'd love a 2999 BMW. How'd you get one!!!!

:p

You're about right on, it's a good 3k too high, maybe more. Unfortunately sellers think KBB is correct, but it's really not right for E36 verts. A good way to bargain is to knock the seller down a bit, then get a pre-purchase inspection. You NEED to get a PPI no matter what, but don't knock the price down too far before the inspection, otherwise they won't be open to going down further. There will definitely be some things wrong with it, and you can use them as bargaining chips to knock it down further. Where are you in CA?

The 2999 is the back to the future special edition model. Since all car makers went bankrupt and the US gov't took over all the car companies, it is actually called a red/white & blue 328ic. ;)

I'm in LA area (Pomona).

Thanks for the advice. I'll set up an appt at my friends shop for an eval of the car.
