Recommended tires for x3?

I just picked up an x3 and was wondering what they recommend as far as tires go. Ive been looking at goodyear assurance triple tread, and eagle gt. But i feel as if these tires were meant for cars and not suvs. Can some one chime in also im looking at the turanza serenity because i have the oe turanzas on them. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

Keep in mind that this is a car-based SUV so many of the tires you see may be based on car designs. The Assurance Tripletred would have the longest wear of the three and the best snow traction. The Eagle GT would have the better handling, steering response and cornering grip among those. The Turanza Serentity is quite a bit better than the OE Turanzas, especially in regards to noise, wet traction, and wear.
